It is relaxing color that contrasts well with the rock and its not a hot or a cool color so it works for all seasons. Blue makes it feel cold in the winter and orange tends to make feel even hotter in the summer... if not the green go with something in the middle of the "hot/cold" spectrum that is calm. Lavendar is always another fair median color... love ya :) good luck!JoAnnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12220003298922968257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3143824373617824184.post-8776760977666429482008-01-30T15:45:00.000-08:002008-01-30T15:45:00.000-08:00The blue looks pretty good too...hmmm...The blue looks pretty good too...hmmm...Nedgehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01223139190589534559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3143824373617824184.post-15547833325978586312008-01-30T15:44:00.000-08:002008-01-30T15:44:00.000-08:00Hmmm...since I already helped influence your decis...Hmmm...since I already helped influence your decision to paint the kitchen brown, I'm just going to give my two cent's worth: (That's not worth much...what can two pennies buy?...Uh, back to the topic...) I like the darker orangish color on the left. It contrasts well with the fireplace. (I think.) <br>But remember the two rooms in the house I painted...they didn't end up so well. So keep in mind I might be a little color blind. :)Nedgehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01223139190589534559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3143824373617824184.post-34967139030589980412008-01-29T19:47:00.000-08:002008-01-29T19:47:00.000-08:00No worries Lindsey...the "purple" os act...No worries Lindsey...the "purple" os actually an ugly dusty rose color...and I don't plan on using that one! Unless your intuition tells you otherwise of course. You have wonderful intuition when it comes to color. Trust it. And then tell Grandma E what color to paint her bedroom.mama rhodesnoreply@blogger.com
