Spice Girl

Since birth we have known that Poppy is a spicy girl. Last night at dinner she (using her very expressive non-verbal communication) indicated she wanted the bottle of Tabasco sauce. She then proceeded to suck on the top of it.
Her father thinking she would learn her lesson decided not to intervene. To our amazement, she liked it and went back to suck on it again.
After a few licks she decided she wanted a drink of water.
Oh yes, she is quite the spicy girl!

Little spicy Poppy looks a little stunned in the picture. Perhaps she is following after her Daddy in the masochist games. Games like who can keep a clothes pin on their lip the longest or kelley clamps on their ear lobes, little innocent games like that. Guess thats what happens when you don't have a t.v. in the kitchen.

By the way, did I tell you what the craft was this year? When Oscar was over at our house it would have been convienent to have a little stool in the bathroom so he could wash his hands and stuff. I remember you guys had a stool from Roberts so when I went there a few days before Christmas and saw thoses stools I thought "oh what a good idea I'll have each family paint a stool for the craft!" Dad painted 2 green and 2 red and each family decorated them. Of course Reed did a bang up job with insects, Nat with rats and chickens and Lindsey with alphabets and numbers. Emily was a bit tired from skiing and will do hers sometime in the future.

Sounds like fun maybe we will have to decorate our stool for the new year!

When my Uncle put tabasco sauce in my cousin's mouth (a punishment for swearing) my cousin spit it out right into my uncle's eye. He had to go to the ER to get an eye flush. Very funny.

So, steer clear of Poppy when there is tabasco around, or at least wear protective eye gear.
